OUR VISION

It is the promise that God will enable us to be the bridge that He uses to move orphans from a life of slavery, poverty, and hopelessness to a life of joy, hope, and a bright future. We see orphans loving God intimately. We see Him meeting all their needs, wiping away all their tears, and turning their mourning into dancing.[1] We see their shyness and low self-esteem replaced by confidence in God and themselves. We see them growing into well-trained, equipped, and motivated Christians who are successful in life. We see them starting their own families—beginning future generations of people who love God. We see them loving, laughing, learning, and living in harmony with others. We see them enjoying the privilege of giving back to their communities and using their life stories to encourage other orphans. We see them loving worship, ministry, fellowship, discipleship, and evangelism—all to the glory of God.

It is the dream of exemplifying faith, hope, unconditional love, prayer, and commitment to Christ. We envision giving up our lives as soldiers serving our heavenly country to rescue orphan citizens—loving them as God loves us[2]. We envision caring for them as God wants us to care for our own children. We see sponsors and orphans growing and being mutually changed by this unconditional love for God and for each other. We envision rising up and living the true meaning of [3]: 1) “Love your neighbor as yourself”; 2) “You must love each other as I have loved you”; 3) “Anyone wanting to be the greatest must be the least—the servant of all”; and 4) “we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters”.

It is the dream of starting offices in Austin, Texas and field offices in at least 100 countries. In these countries, we envision 1) working with local churches to assist local adoptions by Christian families; 2) assisting local foster home placements; 3) starting boarding schools, day schools, orphan homes, feeding programs, and medical clinics where necessary; and 4) encouraging international adoptions through authorized agencies. We envision buying land in each country to build simple but beautiful campuses that give orphans the above services.

It is the promise of serving at least two million orphans in 40 years.

I state with confident assurance that these dreams will become reality. Why? Because they are inspired by God.
